Once you have created your sandbox, you'll receive a Stax Pay account with an API key, ready for testing.

Creating an API Key

1. Once you log in to Stax Pay, you can create a key by clicking Apps from the side menu.
2. On the Apps page, click API Keys, and then click Launch.
3. On the API Keys App, click New Key.
4. On the Key Creation page, enter a name for the key and assign a role. Then click Save.
5. The new key will appear in the list of keys.
6. Click the key icon next to the API key to view, copy, or delete the key.

Naming restrictions

• At least three characters
• No more than 128 characters
• Must not contain spaces
• Must not contain any of the following characters; / ^ ( ? ! \ s + $ ) . * /

Accessing your API Keys

1. Log in to Stax Pay.
2. Find the Sandbox Account: Select your sandbox from the merchant switcher in the upper-right corner.
3. Locate Your API Key: Go to Stax Pay → Apps → API Keys to find your API key.

Requesting a Partner API Key

Partners must request an API key to gain access. Once your request is processed, you'll receive an email with instructions for accessing your API key.

Log into Stax Pay

In the top left corner toggle into a new account I created named Partner Production API Key - {partner name}

Go to APPS >API Keys app > Launch the app.

On the API Keys page, you will see the production partner API key named production-partner-api-key-partnername.
