User Roles
The Roles tab helps you understand and configure the different access levels for users within the Stax Connect platform.

Default Roles
Depending on your application, Stax Connect will usually be configured with two to three roles.
Executive: Highest level permissions, including access to production and test accounts, creating new user accounts, assuming merchant accounts, and managing enrollment.
Developer: Designed for engineering roles, typically has access to Sandbox mode for testing integrations. Developers can also create merchant applications and review enrollment details.
Agent: Lowest level permissions, ideal for sales or support reps. Agents can assist with merchant applications and handle support inquiries.

Custom Roles
Custom roles can be requested if a particular need can not be acquired with the above roles. These cases are uncommon since the pre-set roles typically cover most needs.
Role Details
Clicking a role allows you to see:
- Permission Levels: Specific permissions granted to that role.
- Assigned Users: A list of users assigned to each role.
Roles help ensure that the right level of access is given to the appropriate team members, supporting operational efficiency and security.
