User Roles & Permissions
Administrators in Stax Pay can assign roles and permissions to their users using team settings. Each role has its own assigned list of pre-selected permissions.
Roles
The following are the roles available to assign to specific users.
Role | Description |
---|---|
Team Admin | Full access to the platform, can change roles, manage company information, branding, website payment links, and app integrations like QuickBooks Online. |
Full-Access | Nearly all the same functions as Team Admin, but restricted from managing the team, company information, and integrations. |
Staff | Can run charges, refunds/voids, and view/search activity, invoices, customers, and catalog items. Limited access to dashboard activity (e.g., total sales). |
Sales Staff | Can run charges, view/search activity, invoices, customers, and catalog items. Cannot process voids/refunds and limited access to dashboard activity. |
Reporting | Access to financial data, suitable for accountants or bookkeepers. |
Sales Only | Can run transactions, view/edit customers, and add new payment methods. Cannot run refunds/voids. |
Sales With Refund | Can run transactions, including voids and refunds, view/edit customers, and add new payment methods. |
