Viewing Credit Card Expirations

The ability to save cards and other payment methods on file helps exponentially streamline the payment collection process. However, for many, setting up an auto-payment method often means forgetting to update your billing services when that card expires.

To help business owners eliminate the frustration of a declined payment, Stax Pay has in-app notifications that let you know when a payment method is due to expire. This helps you eliminate a slow cash flow from expired payment methods.

Upon login, you will be notified of expired or expiring payment methods at the top of your screen, as seen below.

You can also run a report on any expired or expiring payment methods as follows.

1. Select “Reports” from the sidebar.
2. Choose Payment Methods Report.
3. Under Expiry, select Expired or Expiring Soon to view a list of all payment methods that have already expired or will soon expire. Follow up with your customers to ensure that these payment methods are up-to-date.
