Test Environments

Let us walk you through everything you need to set up your test environment and start integrating with the Stax API. Follow the steps below to get started quickly and easily:

Create a Stax Sandbox Account

To begin developing with Stax, create a sandbox account by clicking the appropriate button below.

Creating a Stax sandbox account will subscribe you to receive Stax emails. You can opt out at any time.

Merchant Developers

When accessing the API, you will use the same production URL (https://apiprod.fattlabs.com/) regardless of whether you use a live or sandbox API key. The sandbox is connected to a test gateway, so no real transactions will be processed.

For testing purposes, specific test card numbers are available. Refer to the Test Card Payment Methods

Partner Sandbox Account

If you are a Partner with a sandbox account, you can log in to Stax Connect to set up the test account.

  1. In Stax Connect, turn on Test Mode on the left main menu.

  2. Then click Merchant from the left menu and click Add New.

  3. Enter the details of the test merchant. Note the brand will be in a sandbox.

  4. Use this merchant account to test transactions..
