Configuring Sales Tax

You can add and select multiple tax rates for applicable taxable items for invoices.

  1. Go to Settings >Sales Tax inside of Stax Pay.

  2. Select + Add Tax Rate.

  3. Set the Name and Rate.

  4. Click Add Tax Rate.

Creating a transaction with one or multiple tax rates:

  1. Create an invoice.

  2. Choose an existing catalog item from the dropdown.

  3. The tax rates will be selected and will be automatically calculated.

To manually add sales tax on a custom, non-catalog item:

  1. Create an invoice.

  2. Enter the item details.

  3. Input the tax amount into the Sales Tax field or select a predefined tax rate from the dropdown tax menu.
